This November, Cinema at the Museum presents a series a films that explore and honour matriarchal and grandmother figures. Inspired by the themes from the exhibitions Laure Prouvost: Oma-je and Meryl McMaster: bloodline, these films highlight the resilience, strength, care, personality, and importance of matriarchs and grandmothers not only as complex individuals but also as trailblazers.

Film tickets are $10; free admission for members and youth under 18.

Talks, tours and other events are admission by donation or free with membership.
