2–4PM, FREE, Every Sunday all year long.

Drop-in, no registration required.
Great for ages 4–12, always accompanied by an adult.

 

All activities are designed to give kids an opportunity to make art while gaining an understanding of the exhibitions in the gallery.

Vista-ramas: drop-in 2 to 4 p.m.

Make a diorama inspired by the exhibition Vistas: Artists on the Canadian Pacific Railway.

 

August 8
Outdoor Water Painting:
drop-in 2 to

4 p.m.
Paint the landscape outdoors at the Mendel.

 

Plein Air Painting Workshop for Adults at 2 p.m.
Join artist Terry Fenton and create art inspired by the riverbank. All levels of experience are welcome. Materials provided. Rain or shine.

 

August 15
Imaginary Animal Masks: drop-in 2 to 4 p.m.

Create an animal mask inspired by our Model Totem Poles exhibition.

 

August 22
Train’s Eye View: drop-in 2 to 4 p.m.

Imagine the view through a train window and make a picture.

 

August 29
Artist Trading Cards: drop-in 2 to 4 p.m.

Make and trade your own artist trading cards.
