Roxanne Enns

September – October 2007

I took my first pottery class approximately 11 years ago. I immediately became enamored with clay and the fact that my work could be three dimensional or two dimensional, utilitarian or not. It quickly became a passion that I have continued to pursue since then.

My study has been part time and informal; working in my studio and participating in classes, workshops, and exhibitions. In 2001, I was invited to be a part of the Mudslingers, a group of potters interested in exploring the process of the artist’s critique. Over time it has evolved and has also become a venue for group exhibitions, workshops, and guest critique sessions as well as a constant source of support as an artist and friendship.

I find inspiration to make art around me all the time.
