School Programs, 2006-2007

The Mendel is a valuable and unique learning resource for schools. We provide opportunities for students to engage with original artwork, and to take a critical look at visual culture.

Designed to connect Mendel exhibitions to the curriculum needs of teachers and students, this highly interactive program concentrates on building self–directed learning skills, and collaborating with teachers to customize in–school program options.

We welcome about 9,000 students yearly, and our program continues to thrive, adapting and changing to the needs of educational institutions and school divisions.
