The Mendel Art Gallery present this exquisite five year survey exhibition of the paintings of Rick Rivet. In this publication is a curatorial view of the artist's symbolic iconography, the underpinnings of which reside in archetypal memory and the liminal realm of ancient shamanistic traditions.

Enough White Lies to Ice a Wedding Cake
Linda Jansma
Dan Ring
Enough White Lies to Ice a Wedding Cake by Saskatoon-based artist LInda Duvall challenges our ability to interpret deceits of representation and identity in our daily lives, inciting relfection on the capacity of humans to lie, and on the place of storytelling and scientific objectivity in constructing reality.
Comprising two works: Reinvented and Polygraph, and involving participatory performance from selected subjects, this intriguing exhibition occupies an interdisciplinary realm that combines aesthetics, sociology, and technology.
