SaskTel Mendel Art Caravan

Free family fun! Watch for the Caravan in your neighbourhood and enjoy the free artmaking activities.

The SaskTel Mendel Art Caravan is a self-contained 10-foot by 10-foot tent stocked with art supplies, and facilitated by practicing artists. It brings art-making
activities to children aged 4 to 12 and their parents or guardians, at festivals and community events around the city.

The Caravan regularly visits the Pediatric Playroom at Royal University Hospital, the Saskatoon Farmer’s Market, and Community Fun Days. As well, watch for the colourful tent at Saskatoon’s summer festivals! The SaskTel Mendel Art Caravan makes art accessible to the young, and young-at-heart, and demonstrates how integral the creative experience is to the wellness of our community.
