Many Chiefs was a famous leader of the Blackfoot Confederacy. Blackfoot Territory at the time of signing Treaty Seven stretched from the North Saskatchewan River by Edmonton, along the Rocky Mountains South to Yellowstone National Park, and East reaching half way into Saskatchewan and including most of Montana. Many Chiefs lived through the transition years in the late 1800’s to the early 1900’s. He was popular for his generosity and his courage as a warrior.
