DJ Questlove to play Remai Modern’s Summer Solstice Party

Saskatoon, Canada — Remai Modern is thrilled to welcome iconic musician Questlove to the museum for a special, one-night-only DJ performance.

On Saturday, June 22, Questlove will play a selection of choice cuts and hip hop classics in the museum’s stunning Riverview Room.

“At Remai Modern, people can encounter the work of leading international artists. We aim to create a museum that pulsates with life and energy and create moments where our community can celebrate together around contemporary art,” said Troy Gronsdahl, Associate Curator (Live Programs). “Questlove has firmly established himself in the pantheon of great American hip hop artists. Through his work as a drummer, DJ, producer and music journalist, Questlove exerts a significant influence on contemporary music and culture.”

Questlove will be joined by local artists DJ Charly Hustle and vocalist Denise Valle. The event begins at 8 PM and continues until late, with Questlove expected to hit the stage around 11 PM. Join us at the museum for warm summer vibes, stellar views, cocktails and dancing as Remai Modern kicks off summer in style.

Tickets are $15 for members and $27 for non-members. They can be purchased at remaimodern.org.
