Noun: People, Places and Things

Presented by Mendel Youth Council at the Mendel Art Gallery

Exhibition March 7—March 30, 2011
Exhibition Reception 7:00 p.m., March 11, 2011

Mendel Youth Council is offering opportunities for Saskatoon youth to present their artistic talents in a gallery setting. Noun: People, Places and Things is an exhibit of photo-graphs documenting teen identity and teen life. Saskatoon youth are encouraged to submit photographic work that tells a story or represents the people, places and things that make teens unique. Photographs can be any colour, retouched or not, digital or film, and of any physical size. There is a limit of 15 photographs per applicant. Photographs that are sub-mitted in electronic form will be considered, but only as a slideshow presentation during the exhibit; already printed photographs will be exhibited traditionally upon acceptance.

What is Mendel Youth Council?

Mendel Youth Council is a group of students from high schools across Saskatoon who have a passion for art. They meet bi-weekly at the Mendel Art Gallery to identify, organize, design, and market events and programs for other youth. Members gain unique art experience in a gallery setting, and provide a voice for young people in the art community in Saskatoon.
